Hi, I’m Brooke bowersock.
I'm the founder and owner of ALIGN Pilates Studios in Austin, TX. I have owned and operated studios in Austin since 2004.
My experience as a Pilates studio owner has been a wonderful, wild ride. Throughout the years, I have owned large studios with employees, at-home studios, and studios that offer rent-based structures to support independent contractor Pilates instructors. In short, I've done it all, and I've learned a lot along the way.
My goal is to support my teachers to be their best. I have always believed in the motto, "Happy instructors lead to happy clients.”
In 2016, I became a Balanced Body Master Educator, bringing the Balanced Body teacher training program to Austin. Our ALIGN East studio location is one of the only "dedicated" Pilates teacher training centers in the world.
In early 2023 I was appointed the title of "Balanced Body Principal Educator." This is a tremendous honor, as only a few Balanced Body Educators in the world are given this role.
In addition to teaching future teachers, I am the CEO and CMO of both studios. I continue to teach private clients and classes and run a unique Mentor Program to support Pilates teachers in training.
My passion is supporting the Pilates community as a whole. In 2022, I created and curated one of the world's few Pilates continuing education conferences, ALIGN Summit, to provide more opportunities for certified Pilates instructors and studio owners to grow and learn.
I have been featured on platforms such as Pilates Anytime and many other various Pilates business podcasts.

It all starts with you! Most of the time, it means you have developed a love for Pilates and want to turn that into something more. My goal is to help build the Pilates community and provide high-quality teacher training and certification that equips teachers with all the necessary tools to become exceptional Pilates instructors. I am dedicated to supporting you throughout your journey.
